Glasgow Service Terms
Welcome to Glasgow Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhireglasgow.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Glasgow Tenancy
All vehicle rentals booked through Glasgow are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the terms and conditions, insurance information, applicable charges, and your responsibilities for the rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.
2. Glasgow Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Glasgow, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification, proof of address and a valid payment card at the Glasgow rental office.
3. Booking and Payment — Glasgow
- Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Glasgow office. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are normally due when the vehicle is collected. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

- You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage to Glasgow immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Glasgow representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, subject to normal wear and tear. You must not use the hired vehicle for:
- Any use that contravenes local law in Glasgow. Competitive driving, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Conveying hazardous or dangerous substances. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorised drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Uses for which the vehicle was not designed...
Violating these restrictions may result in Glasgow rental termination and extra charges.
8. Glasgow Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by Scottish law, Glasgow Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law (Glasgow)
These Terms are governed by Scots law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
10. Changes to Terms (Glasgow)
Glasgow may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Glasgow's website. Your continued use of Glasgow's services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
